This webinar is aimed at providing land managers with information on preparing for an El Nino impacted season.
The webinar will host the following presentations:
• John McLaughlin, CliMate Project Officer on the impact an El Nino will have on the 2023/24 wet season in North Queensland.
• Bernie English, Senior Beef Extension Officer will discuss pasture, stock and fodder management for the upcoming year.
• Dr. Tim Driscoll from the RFDS Queensland Section will deliver a session on “Mental Resilience in Extreme Weather Conditions”. He will explore the psychological effects of extreme weather episodes and offer valuable insights into strategies tailored to bolster mental resilience during such taxing periods.
