Fitzroy Node

Fitzroy Basin Association (FBA) is the shopfront for the Fitzroy Node and they develop and deliver effective and efficient programs that work with local community, stakeholders and investors to protect the region’s natural assets.

The Fitzroy region is located in central Queensland on the east coast and comprises of seven main drainage basins (water catchments) and a diverse array of landscapes.

The region is home to a diverse mix of ecosystems, plants and animals. Fitzroy Basin Association (FBA) are experts of the Fitzroy region and work with all parts of the community to implement evidence-based, accessible solutions that are relevant to the region.

FBA has an outstanding reputation locally, across Queensland and nationally for developing and delivering effective and efficient programs that work with local community, stakeholders and investors to protect our Region’s natural assets. FBA is uniquely placed geographically, strategically and operationally to deliver priority environmental and agricultural outcomes.
