In 2024 Sugar Research Australia will present a new webinar series featuring SRA research project updates.
The first webinar of the 2024 series will feature Professor Ben Hayes presenting on the Accelerating development of new sugar cane varieties with genomics.
Professor Hayes has extensive research experience in the genetic improvement of livestock, crop, pasture and aquaculture species, focusing on integrating genomic information into breeding programs, including leading many large-scale projects that have successfully implemented genomic technologies in livestock and cropping industries.
