The Future Drought Fund’s second annual Science to Practice Forum is taking place from June 7 to 9, 2022. The TNQ Drought Hub is hosting the online forum and free networking events in both Richmond and Cairns.
This event aims to connect researchers, practitioners, farmers, agri-businesses, governments, and end-users who are making regional Australia better prepared for drought.
This is your chance to engage with best-practice experts, government representatives, and on-ground practitioners working across the fields of sustainable agriculture, climate science, community development, and farm business management.
Themes for the Forum are:
– economic, environmental, and social drought resilience – including mental health
– collaboration
– extension and adoption of science and technology by farmers
Join interactive presentations showcasing projects involving the 8 Drought Resilience Adoption and Innovation Hubs across regional Australia.
