During this two-part workshop, CQ land managers are invited to join soil biology experts to learn how to make and apply Compost Tea. Designed for CQ land managers, this workshop will have plenty of demonstrations, case studies and time for questions.

Mark is an expert in local ecosystems including flora, fauna and management issues. Mark has a passion for regional areas and enjoys working with landholders to restore both natural and agricultural landscapes.
Trevor Galletly | QDA, B AgSC
Trevor has worked for 30+ years in biological farming. He developed the DIY Instant Compost Tea in 2020 – which will be presented at the workshop. Trevor’s passion is soil biology, as nature’s way to grow healthy plants.
Peter Van Beek | Dip Agr, B Ec, M Ag Studies
Peter has been working in agriculture in Queensland since 1966, he has worked as a soil conservation officer, research station manager, and regional extension leader. He is passionate about resilient agricultural systems.
