Field trip to Malanda cattle property

A key session included the panel discussion from participants of the Advancing Beef Leaders Program, highlighting the benefits of industry and community capacity building.

A field trip to several cattle properties around Malanda gave attendees the chance to meet with producers to discuss innovative best management practices and see examples of how appropriate pasture management and how the benefit of legumes can help achieve an increase in growth and stocking rates.

The tour was not only an educational experience but also a chance to keep the conversation going in a more hands-on environment.
