Professional Extension Capability Pathways Paper
The TNQ Drought Hub and Department of Agriculture and Fisheries (DAF) have worked in partnership in the development of a generic Extension Pathways Matrix to support Australian extension organisations. The purpose of this report is to provide a framework for considering the extension skills needed to inform career pathways and training needs. It is also about further developing and supporting the recognition of the professional extension.
These documents set out some guiding principles to support decision making related to extension practice. They are essentially summary documents to support the scoping out of a project or program for an early career extension professional or a more seasoned professional that may wish to review an alternate approach.
These resources set out some guiding principles associated with Change, Technical and Relational Practice. Each of the documents can be considered as required to support extension practice decision making.
