DESCRIPTION:An informative workshop to learn how to use Queensland Globe mapping application to gather property data to assist with land management. \n  \nWanting to learn more on how Queensland Globe can be used to access spatial data and assist with property planning and mapping? \nJoin Reef Catchments for an informative workshop on how to use Queensland Globe to: \n\nCreate detailed maps of your property including information on:\n\n– drawing fence lines & watering points \n– measuring paddock sizes and viewing historical satellite imagery \n\nImport and export data layers & generate property maps\n\n\nGain access to a wealth of information on your properties land type\, regional ecosystem\, watercourse classification and vegetation management layers\n\nAt this workshop you will gain practical skills on how to use the QLD Globe mapping applications to access a wide range of spatial data and layers to assist your own property planning and decision making. \nA laptop and mobile device are essential for the workshop. \nMorning tea and lunch will be provided. \nThis project is funded by the Australian Governments Reef Trust. \n  \nPhotographs and/or video will be taken at this event. By attending this event you grant the event organisers full rights to use the images resulting from the photography/video filming\, and any reproductions or adaptations of the images for fundraising\, publicity or other purposes to help achieve the organiser’s aims. This might include (but is not limited to)\, the right to use them in their printed and online publicity\, social media\, press releases and funding applications.
