Join us to observe\, innovate and integrate your planned grazing. \nPlanned Grazing is powerful observation\, integrating innovation to create positive outcomes \nGrab your hat and notebook and get ready for three days packed full of progressive learnings\, experiences and demonstrations to inspire and invigorate your grazing management! Reef Catchments is excited to have you join our 2023 Innovative Grazing Forum as we continue to support landholders\, industry partners\, extension providers and stakeholders as natural resource managers for the Mackay Whitsunday Isaac regions. \nThis year’s Forum marks the 10th year we bring together great minds to support and evolve our regions’ grazing. This event offers opportunities to improve landscape\, production quality and quantity\, to network\, share knowledge and innovations to reduce nutrient runoff through our waterways and eventually to the Great Barrier Reef. \nWe are excited to welcome Dick Richardson to the region as our keynote speaker\, who will be supported by presentations from Mike Taylor – 2022 Farmer of the Year\, Jim Fletcher and Lara Landsberg – DAF\, Carlos Bueno – Reef Catchments and the team at Gallagher. At the conference day we also have an inspiring line-up of stallholders across the three days and offer plenty of time to connect with industry specialists\, network with other graziers and to discover ways to invigorate your grazing enterprise. With two field days sandwiched around the conference day\, you will discover methods and practical ideas on integrating innovation into your grazing management. \nBUS TRANSPORT will be available to and from the second Field Day\, held near Bowen. Registration for the bus will start at 06:30am for a 06:45am departure from Reef Catchments\, Peel Street\, Mackay. \nDAILY EVENT LOCATIONS will be provided at confirmation of your reservation. \nPAYMENT REQUIRED \nThis year’s event requests a small payment of $20 for each daily ticket. Funds raised through ticket sales will support the purchase of FIVE DELEGATE PRIZES\, each to the value of $800. Attendance at the event is an eligibility requirement for the prize draw. If for some reason you are unable to attend the event\, contact the organiser prior to the day to receive a full refund of your ticket cost. \nPHOTOGRAPHY NOTICE \nPhotographs and/or video will be taken at this event. By attending this event you grant the event organisers full rights to use the images resulting from the photography/video filming\, and any reproductions or adaptations of the images for fundraising\, publicity\, or other purposes to help achieve the organiser’s aims.
