Nebo Fire Management Planning Workshop

Your property is in one of the largest wilderness areas in Queensland and it is an important habitat for koalas. Bushfire preparedness is an important way that you can safeguard your property and help these important species thrive.

Learn how to create a fire management plan for your property at a free property fire information session and fire management planning workshop at Nebo.

This will cover fire safety, fire as a land management tool, Local laws, vegetation management, Local disaster arrangements, agencies roles and responsibilities, and fire ecology.

Minimum requirements for the Fire Management Planning Workshop Attendees, attendance at the Fire Information Session is a requirement, your property must be in the Clarke-Connors Range area, and over 1.5 hectares, unless the property is next to or adjoining a very large natural area.
