Multi-topic Workshop – Building drought resilience | Injune

This multi-topic workshop will cover practical approaches to drought preparedness, erosion control and soil health. Learn from industry experts how to create healthy, profitable and productive land through sustainable land management practices. Discuss how erosion can impact your soil and learn what networks and resources are available to you.

Guest speakers 

Darryl Hill
SOIL AND EROSION SPECIALIST
Darryl is highly regarded around Australia for his practical approach in achieving soil outcomes. With over 40 years of experience, Darryl will help you find effective solutions to improve the health of soil on your land.

Dhiraj Gajera
TROPICAL NORTH DROUGHT HUB REGIONAL SOILS COORDINATOR
Dhiraj is an experienced Agronomist who works in the farming industry. Dhiraj will help you to build vital connections in the industry and explore funding and networking opportunities.

Lochlan Jepson
FBA LAND MANAGEMENT OFFICER
Lochlan is well-versed in land management practices and pasture management. During this workshop, Lochlan will discusss programs and projects available to Fitzroy land managers to help them improve their productivity, profitability and sustainability.
