Atherton Tableland Chamber of Commerce with support from partners, are delivering Mental Health First Aid Training.
The Atherton Tableland Chamber of Commerce (ATCC) with support from TRC, Tableland Interagency Mental Health Subgroup , Black Cockatoo Foundation and Queensland Health are pleased to introduce the Mental Health Business Champions Program.
The program aims to build the capacity and mental health literacy of people within and across the Tablelands business community.
The training will be held at the Atherton Coordination Centre over two days and attendance is required on both days:
Tuesday 2 August 2023 8.15am–4.15pm
Wednesday 3 August 2023 8.15am–4.15pm
By completing the training the participants will become part of the ATCC Business Mental Health champion network and be invited to a kitchen table learning circle session.
The three hour kitchen table session will be a facilitated, informal session that will focus on how to apply the learned knowledge from the Mental Health First Aid. As the mental health champion network builds the opportunity for networking and mentoring will also increase
Criteria
Please only register if you are committed to being part of the Business Mental Health champion network
In order to attend, you need to live or work in either the Tablelands Regional Council region or Mareeba Shire Council region.
