Tablelands Regional Council in partnership with Queensland Health are delivering Mental Health First Aid training.
Mental Health First Aid teaches people to assist someone who is developing a mental health problem or is in mental health crisis. The first aid is given until appropriate professional treatment is received or until the crisis resolves
The training will be held at the Ravenshoe Mountain Institute (inside Ravenshoe Library) over two days and attendance is required to both days:
The cost is subsidised and is $22 (plus booking fee $2.30) on registration.
In order to attend you need to live or work in either the Tablelands Regional Council region or Mareeba Shire Council region.
