Join us in Biboohra for a practical field day with Leasie Felderholf and Mick Blackman to learn about:

• Fuel loads
• Managing the tree/grass balance
• Promoting perennial grasses over annual grasses
• Fire characteristics of different plant species
• Fuel load and curing
• Reading the landscape such as previous charring, char heights, and various vegetation indicators
• Fire breaks and erosion control
• Fire for weed control
• Fire behaviour in general (e.g. related to wind, slope, fuel load, fuel structure, ignition point etc)
