“Influential Women” Community Leadership Forum is supported by the TNQ Hub as part of their commitment to building human capacity in regional Queensland.
Leadership is a catalyst for positive change. It’s about the ability to influence people to work willingly together towards a shared goal. The “Influential Women” Community Leadership Forum is designed to hone these leadership skills and empower participants to make a lasting impact in their lives and communities.

The outcomes from this forum are designed to be transformative. Participants can expect:
- Improved Knowledge of Self and Others: Self-awareness is the cornerstone of effective leadership.
- Improved Ability to Influence Positive Change: Empowered with leadership skills, participants will be better equipped to effect positive change in various aspects of their lives, from family and community to business and industry.
- Improved Ability to Work Effectively with Others: Leadership is not a solitary endeavor. Working effectively within teams and networks is essential for success.
- Greater Confidence and Courage: The forum will instil the confidence and courage needed to make informed decisions, embrace leadership roles, and drive progress in the future.

This forum is firmly rooted in rural Queensland, reflecting the unique challenges and opportunities faced by rural women.
- Rural Focus: The program is tailored to the specific needs of rural communities, offering solutions that resonate with the challenges they face.
- Practical, Active, Challenging, Fun: The forum is designed to be engaging and enjoyable, making the learning experience both practical and fun.
- Based on Adult Learning Principles: The content and structure of the forum are aligned with adult learning principles to maximize the effectiveness of the program.
- Numbers Capped: To ensure a highly interactive and personalized experience, the number of participants is capped at 20.

- Tuesday 19th March, 11am to 5.30pm
- Wednesday 20th March, 8.30am to 5.00pm (with an evening activity)
- Thursday 21st March, 8.30am to 2pm

- Workshop – Burdekin Theatre Music Loft
- Accommodation – Country Ayr Motel. Accommodation is twin share room with another participant.
Costs
- Registration Fee – $20
- Accommodation – There are two options for accommodation;
- Accommodation Option 1: $92.50 (check in Tuesday 19, check out Wednesday 20)
- Accommodation Option 2: $175 (check in Tuesday 19, check out Thursday 21)
Both which includes your registration fee and accommodation.
This course is valued at over $1,400.
