The Developing Northern Australia conference is where government, business, local community, commerce and culture mix, meet and plan a new way forward.
Our theme this year is An Outwards Looking North: Our Place in a Changing World
With unprecedented global change, what steps need to happen so that we can re-orient ourselves in a more turbulent world; both increasing our sovereign capability and our resilience?
Post-covid transitions, high energy costs, disrupted supply chains and the rush to decarbonize the economy might present great opportunities. At the same time, Indigenous led diplomacy, trade, business and nation building gathers significant pace.
Across all of these opportunities, however, we will need to compete well in the global race for population, skills and more affordable energy.
It’s time to show the world Northern Australia can take a global lead navigating the coming economic and societal transitions.
DNA is the only conference to focus on Northern Australian core issues, policies, solutions and outcomes. The policy makers, decision makers, officials and leaders in the room represent the best collection of minds all working together for a stronger, healthier, more cohesive Northern Australia.
