Australian Pulse Conference 2023

March 21 - March 23

Pulses for People, Profit and the Planet, the three-day Australian Pulse Conference, will highlight the growing interest in pulses as a source of plant-based protein and as a highly nutritional grain.

One of the main aims of the conference will be to foster linkages between traditional areas of Australian pulse research with both the domestic food manufacturing industry and international markets.

Symposia sessions will outline the health benefits of pulses, industry developments in food manufacturing, trade, genetic improvement, environmental interactions, and production systems, as well as examining the growing role pulses are playing in nutrition and the possibilities for their increased inclusion in Western diets.

The Conference will commence with two symposia days focusing on research and production/industry presentations, concluding with a technical field day and industry tours.

The Organising Committee are working to secure a line-up of Key Industry speakers, to focus on important aspects of pulse research and development of significance to the Australian industry.
