Director David Phelps and Regional Soils Coordinator Dhiraj Gajera were in Julia Creek with node partner Southern Gulf NRM at a bare grounds restoration workshop on ‘Managing Soils and Rangelands for Drought Resilience’.
Southern Gulf NRM are conduct baseline sampling to understand the soil health and suitability for restoration practices in the Richmond and the Upper Gilliat region and shared an update on the project. David presented on building residence at business, community and regional levels and Dhiraj showed landholders how to do their own soils testing.
