Several of the hub team recently attended James Cook University’s (JCU) Agriculture Technology and Adoption Centre (AgTAC) Awayday. They learnt about various research projects, such as AI for weed control and socially assistive robotics from JCU researchers aimed at solving agriculture related problems through practical, easily accessible digital technologies.
The TNQ Drought Hub collaborates closely with the AgTAC network which is made up of experts from Data Science, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Internet of Things and Sensors System and Advanced Manufacturing to share ideas, opportunities and connections that support drought resilience innovation across the region.
